Abstract submission

Late poster submission is now closed.

All selected abstracts will appear in full on the Conference website, abstract booklet, and they may be published. By submitting your abstract, you give permission for their publication.

Submission process – In order to submit your abstract, you will need to register an email address with the Oxford Abstracts system. Once you have done so, you will be taken to a dashboard that will allow you to submit or amend your abstract. If you would like your abstract to be considered for a symposium, please let us know in the comment box; the list of symposia is available at the bottom of this page: https://esb2023.org/topics/. The priority of the organizers is to produce the most interesting, inclusive and coherent program, and therefore there is no guarantee that the presentation will be assigned to the symposium or session indicated.

Please be aware that some local firewalls may restrict access to the abstract submission website, so if you are experiencing problems, please either try to access the site from another machine or ensure that you have added Oxford Abstracts as a ‘Trusted Sender’.

Review and Selection – The review of abstracts will take immediately after the submission deadline. Each abstract will be reviewed by academics who are experts on the specific topic that corresponds to the content of the abstract. Besides specific expertise, reviewers were selected to ensure inclusion and diversity.

Notification – Abstract authors will receive a notification regarding their submission in mid-May 2023. For late poster submission, abstract authors will receive a notification regarding their submission by mid-July 2023. Please be aware that notifications will be sent to the email address of the presenting author. All presenting authors must register to attend the meeting in order to present their abstract as a Podium or Poster presentation. There is no discounted registration rate for presenting authors. Should you have any queries please contact us at esb.davos@aofoundation.org
